Where are you now Mr Murdoch?

I'm outraged, I'm beside myself with anger. My head is about to explode at the sheer insensitivity, the idiocy, the lunacy of an American political commentator called Glenn Beck.

One of the tragedies of modern politics is that teenagers have largely shunned it. Apathy reigns. So when a group of teenagers take themselves off to an island in Norway to engage in the political process we should all be cheering - when those kids are gunned down mercilessly, mothers and fathers left grief stricken and with broken lives who the f&$% does Glenn Beck think he is likening them to 'Hitler Youth'?

I quote - "There was a shooting at a political camp, which sounds a little like, you know, the Hitler Youth. I mean, who does a camp for kids that's all about politics? Disturbing."

Okay Mr Murdoch - let's see if your 'most humble' good self who told a Parliamentary Committee last week that you strived for integrity in your news organisation - can actually live up to those claims. Glenn Beck is an advisor to several Fox News programmes and is currently on your organisation's payroll. Dismiss him now or forever be revealed as a contemptuous liar.

  1. Just when you think this shower of reprobates can't sink any lower, down they plunge. Thankfully, the clock's still clicking and it's only a matter of time before they all disappear up there own *****!

  2. I suppose Beck thinks the Norwegian Labour Party has the same aims as the German National Socialist Party, ignoring the fact that the only Nazi present was the one, true to his beliefs and those of his intellectual mentors, intent on killing innocent youth. But then maybe he doesn't know how to think. Disparate organisations all over the world hold summers camps for their youth - political, religious, industrial, educational, youth groups, mental health, music - name an activity and there are camps. What alternate universe does this guy Beck inhabit? Show him a summer camp and he thinks Hitler. One very stupid ignorant bastard.

I'm not sure which circle of Dante's hell Murdock and his ilk will inhabit, but the sooner they go there, the better. The audacity of these people is stunning.

  4. Is he really that stupid or was he reading from a teleprompter? Which leaves you wondering how many were involved in the writing of his "comment". No doubt there will be a useless apology and an equally stupid explanation tomorrow.

  5. What a f******g moronic twit. Mind you, that probably applies to anyone on Fox News. The scary part is that a lot of people watch these idiots and take what they say as fact. God help us.

  6. Beck is one of Murdoch's minions. He's desperate to get attention since his TV show's been cancelled, so he's gonna say any inflammatory thing he can to get attention. As long as he makes money for ol' Rupie, he'll have a job. Rupie needs to be knocked off the throne; that's the only way to be rid of these hysterical morons.

  7. Beck has become a billionaire being an idiot. He is a very powerful idiot and influences many. I find him very frightening.

  8. I'm horrified by the man. I read somewhere that he was once an alcoholic - I wonder if his statement emerged from the bottom of a bottle of spirits?

Alec - that was a spellbinding comment!

  10. That man should be fired. But I guess he stirs up enough "discussion" that his bosses keep him for ratings. I don't know.

    He needs to be gone.
